“The true enemy of humanity is disorder.”

It’s always admirable when a cosplayer builds their costume from scratch — which is exactly the case with Brussels, Belgium-based cosplayer Aaryae, seen here sporting her Symmetra duds:

SDCC 2017: Who wore it best? Harley Quinn cosplay

In life three things are guaranteed: death, taxes, and Harley Quinn cosplays at comic cons. Don’t get it twisted: the classics never go out of style, and Harley’s various ensembles are staples of the cosplay life. We ran into a few standout Harleys at SDCC 2017: Who wore it best?

Pictures posted with permission of the cosplayers, though unfortunately we did not receive names from the first two.

First up we have an interpretation of Arkham Knight Harley, complete with French maid-style skirt and red and blue pigtails. Instead of the baseball bat seen in that game, however, she decided to go with a classic blow-up version of the vintage-style hammer. Interesting choice!

This incarnation is a lot more like the Harley of the comics world since the New 52. Subdued red and black, with an impressively sized mallet. Bonus points for the rollerskates too!

Lastly is Bombshell Harley Quinn, done in body paint by the very talented Rachel Hollon. Follow her on Instagram for even more awesome cosplays! Not only does she nail the costume’s look especially with the goggles, but her face is that classic pale white we all know and love.

Who wore it best? Sound off in the comments!

SDCC 2017: Who wore it best? Link cosplay

Link is a popular cosplay choice at San Diego Comic Con this year, no doubt thanks in no small part to the immense success of Breath of the Wild. As with Harley Quinn, though, there are several different incarnations of Link to choose from. Which begs the question: who wore it best?

Our first Link seems to be inspired by the more realistic Twilight Princess incarnation of the character, though the grey beard adds a unique element.

The classic. The version of Link most people think of when they think of the character: Link from Ocarina of Time.

Rounding out the field we have a Link based on the smash hit Breath of the Wild version of Link, complete with blue top and a life size Korok friend to travel with. Extra inventory space, yassss!

Poison Ivy is always a staple of conventions across the world and yet they can all be so different! The coolest part of Poison Ivy cosplay is how creative cosplayers get with the flora and fauna. Here are three we spotted.

Cosplay pictures posted with permission.

This cosplay, by Kaija Harris is by far the leafiest we’ve seen. The contacts are also a very nice touch! You can find more of Harris’ cosplay @kaija.harris on Instagram.

Our second cosplayer nailed the red hair and the leafy bottom and top are thorough!

The last of the three Poison Ivy cosplay is all body paint. The rose is a nice touch. By face and body paint costume designer Brigitte Berlin, @brigitteberlinmua on Instagram.

Wonder Woman is huge this year! The new film took audiences by storm and SDCC attendees are doing her justice. Here are a few of the Wonder Women we have encountered.

Cosplay pictures posted with permission.

Check out this Wonder Mom. She is up early making kid’s lunches, getting ready for her busy day at the office and even finds time to set her hair all while being an active member of the Justice League.

Our second Wonder Woman Maria, is also a mom. She brings her two Wonder Girls wherever she goes. The three of them are ready to tackle the booths and fight crime on the SDCC floor together.

These defenders of justice pack a two for one punch! They have found their way from Themyscira to San Diego each dazzling in their patriotic garb.

That’s a lot of Wonder Women. Each with their own style. All of these ladies put in some time to make a terrific cosplay outfit. Tell us who you think wore it best in the comments.

As fans eagerly await Season 3 of Rick and Morty, AiPT! has had a few fun encounters with Ricks of all sizes–and some Mortys. Who do you think wore it best?

Pictures posted were taken with permission.

Let’s get started in the lab. This Rick went full on science experiment. You can find @maswhimsy on Instagram.

Uh-oh! Looks like Rick may have shrunk Rick! Although he is small in size, this little Rick was not holding back with his costume and ray gun.

Wait a minute that’s Evil Morty and it looks like Rick needs a drink after being brought back to full size.

Phew! Rick escaped evil Morty and is celebrating on the sidewalk. That was a close one.

Thanks to all our Ricks and Evil Morty. Tell us who you think wore it best in the comments.

With Wonder Woman, Spider-Man and Justice League hysteria, it’s easy to forget Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was a smash hit in its own right earlier this year. And of course, with successful comic book movies comes lots of cosplay! Yondu was a breakout character of the last movie, and there are some great riffs on him on the SDCC floor. Who wore it best?

Pictures posted with permission.

Guardians + Star Wars = one memorable cosplay. Why aren’t there blue Stormtroopers with mohawks?

The best scene of the whole movie encapsulated in one classic mashup (Instagram: @captcash).

This Yondu went with a more traditional approach, but he’s not alone–he’s got Rocket and Groot by his side.

Millions fell in love with the 1993 fantasy/musical, The Nightmare Before Christmas. The catchy tunes and the wondrous animation made this film one to watch over and over again. Halloweentown’s beloved Pumpkin King Jack Skellington and wistful, dreamy Sally were on display at San Diego Comic-Con. We met three different variations of these lovable characters.

You tell us who wore it best?

Pictures posted with permission.Jack looks dapper in his pin-striped suit while Sally rocks a handmade wig of red yarn and strikes a darling pose. All on her own and searching for Jack. This Sally had it going on with full body paint, even over the facial hair.Together again, Jack and Sally graciously pose for a photo. Ah, you can see the adoration on Sally’s face.

Cosplay is one of the staples of conventions, but at San Diego Comic Con they take it to the next level. It’s an attraction for many and even the main reason people go to conventions. People come from out of town just to watch SDCC to see the cosplay. It’s a spectator sport! We snapped pictures of many of the best cosplay and if you’ve been following us on Twitter and Instagram you’ve seen some of the creative costumes from the show floor. It was really great to meet everyone and we hope to see you at future comic conventions!

Without further ado, here are our favorite cosplayers we encountered at SDCC 2017.
